After the sacking of Frank Lampard and the new coach is yet to be announced by Chelsea, the situation is very uncertain at the moment in the Blues squad. The expected is that Thomas Tuchel will be the manager for this game.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are in a bad run of form this season. They are a top-half team since the promotion but after few departures in the summer and the injury to Raul Jimenez, they are struggling to win games consistently.

Wolverhampton have their problems in this season after two very good seasons since the promotion. The departure of Diego Jota and Matt Doherty, and the injury to Raul Jimenez and Jonathan Castro Otto.

Wolves are 14th at the moment with 22 points in 19 games. They have struggled with the centre forward situation during the absence of Jimenez, young Portuguese Fabio Silva could not fill the void so they bought Willian Jose from Real Sociedad.

Nuno Espirito Santo has changed his side’s formation in this season quite a lot after they were very successful with 3-4-3 in the last two seasons which may unsettle the squad.

Chelsea have only one injury problem in the squad as N’Golo Kante is the man who will be out injured for this game.

If Tuchel start his job from this game then he certainly will go his fellow countrymen Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Antonio Rudiger in his side and it will be interesting to see what formation he’ll choose for the game.

Wolves will put Jose straight into the side for this game in place of Silva who will need time to adapt in a new league.

Santo continues to cope without Jonny Otto, Marcal and Daniel Podence, and no timeframe has been placed on Jimenez’s return to action.
