Chelsea willing to sell French star; Juventus interested

Chelsea are willing to sell their French star this month. Serie A giants Juventus are keen to sign and have put him on the wishlist along with 2 other stars.

The star in question here is Axel Disasi who joined the Blues in summer 2023. In his first season at England, he played 44 games for the club. However, the situation has not been same this season. He is way behind in pecking order and has played only 16 games this season.

Disasi has been linked with away moves since a very long time. The Blues are keen to sign new defenders and that can’t be done unless they part ways with some of their existing stars. Along with Disasi, Benoit Badiashile is also linked with exit.

Chelsea prepared to sell Disasi this month

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Blues are open to selling Disasi this month. They are also open to sanction his loan move if the interested party can include an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

However, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has said that they don’t need any new centre backs at the moment. He also added that they have Disasi, Colwill and Badiashile all available right now. So, the future of Disasi still remains uncertain at the moment.

Juventus keeping close tabs on Axel Disasi

Di Marzio further reported that Juve are keeping close tabs on Disasi. They have added the French defender to their wishlist. Along with Disasi, they are monitoring Antonio Silva and Ronaldo Araujo.

Eariler it was reported that Silva is very close to joining Juventus. His representatives said that the player is desperate to join the Italian giants. However, the talks cooled off after some days.

Recently, Araujo has been very heavily linked with the Serie A giants. He is said to be on the verge of joining them and was reported to travel to Italy for medicals in the next week.
