Chelsea are showing interest in Man City legend ahead of summer window. They already had him before he came into attention of the world. The Blues are now willing to bring him back on a free transfer this summer.
The star in question here is Kevin De Bruyne who is already considered as Man City legend. He joined the club in 2015 after an awesome 2014/15 season with Wolfsburg. The Belgian scored 16 goals and picked 27 assists for German club in 51 games to earn a move back to England.
Later, De Bruyne established himself as one of the best players in the world. He is now considered as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League of all time. So far, the Belgian has scored 107 goals and picked 170 assists for the Sky Blues in 417 games.
De Bruyne has been one of the main reasons behind City’s success. He has won every trophy available at the club level with the Sky Blues. However, the Belgian is set to leave the Etihad at the end of the season. He will be out of contract and City are planning to move-on from him.

De Bruyne has already announced that he will leave City this summer. He was asked about his future to which the Belgian replied that he is open to everything. The 33 year old is also open to join City’s English rivals in the summer window if he finds the project interesting.
According to Football Insider, Chelsea are willing to re-sign De Bruyne this summer. The Belgian was part of the Blues team before moving to Germany. The Belgian midfielder played 9 games for them but was unable to establish himself as a key player at Stamford Bridge.
