Man United have been told to sign Victor Osimhen who is the top priority of Chelsea. The Red Devils has been told so by their former star who prefers Osimhen over Gyokeres.
Both Chelsea and United will enter the race for striker once again next year. They have some common names on their radar. Viktor Gyokeres is highly linked with a move to Premier League.
The sweedish striker is said to follow his manager’s path and join Man United. But he is also linked with Arsenal and Chelsea. Another name who has been linked with move to Premier League is Victor Osimhen.
Chelsea are the front runners in the race for Osimhen. They tried very hard to sign the Nigerian striker this summer. But the deal never materialised which made Osimhen to join Galatasaray on loan.
Osimhen is still wanted by Chelsea and a move from the club can be soon seen. The Nigerian striker has 8 goals and 3 assists this season in just 9 games. This has shown his quality and ability to do the job anywhere in the world.
Galatasaray are keen to sign Osimhen permanently next year. But the player is said to move to England. The 25 year old can be signed for €80 million in January. But as per Tuttomercato, he can be available for around €70 million in summer.
Man United told to hijack plans of Chelsea and sign Osimhen
Now, former United player Louis Saha has told Red Devils to go for Osimhen. He said that he prefers the Nigerian striker over Gyokeres and then gave the reasons behind his preference.
“If you look at the stats, Man United should go after Victor Osimhen over Viktor Gyokeres, it’s as simple as that. He’s been scoring goals for fours years at Napoli and has done exactly the same since joining Galatasaray, scoring goals for fun” – Louis Saha about Victor Osimhen.
“He is a huge character and has the confidence to be a success everywhere he goes. I think there is a bit more of a guarantee behind him given the amount of time he has been successful” – Louis Saha on why he prefers Osimhen over Gyokeres.
