Chiesa feels uncertain of his future after fallout with manager Allegri

According to journalist Adriano Del Monte, Federico Chiesa is becoming increasingly dissatisfied at Juventus and is now unsure of his future at the club. Tuttosport reported on Saturday that the Italian winger became alienated from coach Massimiliano Allegri due to the tactics utilised in Turin. Chiesa was unable to truly display his best in a 3-5-2 formation.

Disappointed with Allegri, Chiesa might leave Juventus soon

According to journalist Adriano del Monte, Chiesa is the latest Juventus player who is considering leaving the club in the summer after being disappointed by manager Massimiliano Allegri. Chiesa joined Juventus officially in 2022 after spending two seasons on loan there. He was out for nearly ten months after ACL surgery. However he returned to duty only in November 2022. But the Turin club’s present turmoil could mean he may seek for a move elsewhere in the summer.

Chiesa was out for roughly ten months last year after rupturing his cruciate ligament. He only started playing regularly for Juventus back after the World Cup in Qatar. In 1079 minutes of action over 25 games this season, he has two goals and four assists. Del Monte claims that people close to Chiesa have told him that the Euro 2020 winger is dissatisfied with Juventus and Allegri’s 3-5-2 play-style. The 25-year-old’s future with the club is now uncertain. The Bianconeri appears to have strong faith in Allegri’s mission. Juventus will likely continue with him next season, regardless of Europa League success.

Other than Chiesa, players like Dusan Vlahovic and Angel Di Maria have become dissatisfied with their experiences under Allegri. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Di Maria even faked an ankle injury to miss Sunday’s encounter against Bologna.
