Christian Eriksen has signed a 3-year deal with Premier League side Manchester United. The Red Devils are already preparing for Dane’s medicals having signed him as a free agent with his contract running out at Brentford.
A former teammate from Brentford Pontus Jannson has lauded Eriksen for his ” class ” and has compared the 28-year-old to legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He also talked about the quality Eriksen brings on the ball as well as the living presence he has on the pitch.
” He has an aura , not of a superstar but of somebody who has been playing for the best teams in the world. I have played with Zlatan also and I have to say that they both have something special when ball is at their feet “,
Jansson said.
He also added about the awareness that Eriksen has on the pitch and how he changed Brentford’s season helping them avoid relegation.
The CAM position finally will have some competition with Bruno Fernandes and Eriksen as options. New boss Eric Ten Hag will be looking to put Eriksen’s qualities to the best use. Expectations circling around the former Ajax man will be high. Reinforcements are still expected at United to make the squad worthy of competing in the Premier League.

Since then it has all gone uphill for the Dane as he now seems to make an impact at Old Trafford.
