The former Aston Villa midfielder has not played a single minute under the new manager Enzo Maresca. The 20-year-old is way below Maresca’s liking in the midfield for Chelsea. Mauricio Pochhetino the former manager kept Careny in high ranks. Carney had pretty of playing time under his former manager.

An injury has seen the mid-field player out of the playing time for the Blues. This exclusion from playing in the team has kept the player pretty down the playing squad.

Clubs interested in Carney Chukwuemeka

The midfielder’s future is uncertain with the Blues. Plenty of teams have come forward to sign the player as he has a lot of potential.

According to Fichjaes, Carney Chukwuemeka is a potential defensive target for AC Milan in the January transfer window. Milan has a track record of turning players in their favour. These players moved out of their club as they were seemingly of no use.

It would be interesting to see if they will sign the former Aston Villa player as an outright purchase or initial loan. It could be the latter, with an option to purchase.

Chukwuemeka’s wages could have seen a stumbling block in leaving Chelsea this summer. The Blues will likely sanction a six-month deal to get him out of their books. They would like to send him to a club where he can get more game time.
