Chelsea defeated Newcastle United at their home by 2-1 where Cole Palmer once again played a vital part. Not only he scored but he was also able to provide a superb pass which has been showered by praise from all around.
In the 4th minute, Palmer found the back of the net but the goal was ruled out by VAR. But, the Blues proved too strong for Magpies as they took lead only after just 14 minutes. Nicolas Jackson once again scored and Pedro Neto picked up the assist.
Neto was able to justify the club legend Frank Lampard who urged Enzo Maresca to start him. But, none of this would have happened with Palmer who’s amazing vision and pass found the Portugese star running down the wing.

The pass from Palmer was praised by many of the football greats. Firstly, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher called it one of the best passes he has ever seen.

Later, Man United legend Roy Keane spoke highly about the Chelsea ace. It is often too hard to impress Keane but Palmer has made the former Man United captain love him.

Palmer ended the game with 1 goal in his account. He also had 76% passing accuracy and 56% long ball accuracy. Palmer had 8 passes in the final third. He was also able to help defensively and make 1 interception along with 7 recoveries. Lastly, the 22 year old won 4 duels and win three fouls for Chelsea.
