Liverpool have Cole Palmer on their wishlist as a potential midfield target for this summer transfer window.
Cole Palmer has got new PL admirers
Reports have indicated Liverpool are monitoring Cole Palmer, Chelsea‘s star playmaker.
The England international is proving his worth since joining the Blues from Man City last season. He has managed to score 34 goals in 89 games for Enzo Maresca’s team so far.
He was not getting regular minutes under City head coach Pep Guardiola. Although, everyone in the club loved him there. But, the player chose to leave the Etihad side last to get more playing time.
However, few reports suggests that his former club, Man City and Liverpool are tracking his movements recently. Although, it is unclear if Chelsea will let go off their star midfielder this summer.
The 22-year-old player is having a not so good season at the Stamford Bridge this time. Last campaign, he was having a great time with the Blues with his standout performances across all competitions. But, this term, he is looking a bit out of form.
Although, he is still running games for his side alongside Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez. But, the impact he had last year, is missing.
Liverpool monitoring Palmer’s moves
It is certain that Cole Palmer will be a great signing for the Reds. Furthermore, Liverpool manager Arne Slot is looking to make some changes into his squad this summer.
Somewhere, Man City will also be regretting their decision to sell Palmer last term. And now they are reportedly keeping eyes on him. Especially, after Phil Foden is also struggling for form. So, bringing his fellow countrymen will increase competition for a place in the team.
Chelsea must be thinking to keep Cole for couple of more years. Although, few sources claim that the Blues might sell him if there is a reasonable offer.
