Criminal action to be taken on future racist abusers of Vinicius Jr.

Brazilian wonderkid

At La Liga matches this season, Vinicius Jr has been the victim of continual racism abuse. However, this has been disheartening for Spanish football fans. In addition, three separate incidents of racial abuse are in the reports this year against the Brazilian. On the other hand, Carlo Ancelotti, Vinicius’ manager, in turn, called for action.

As of Saturday’s trip to Osasuna, La Liga will implement a new racial abuse prevention system to protect Vinicius. In addition, criminal efforts appear to be gaining traction. However, CSD president Jose Manuel Franco confirms a rise in racism in recent months. He says those found responsible will receive punishment, according to Diario AS.

Criminal action imposed on future perpetrators abusing Vinicius Jr.

Jose Manuel Franco said:

“We have detected a slight increase in recent months. Proof of this are the repeated insults received by

Vinicius Jr. this season at the Camp Nou, the Metropolitano, José Zorrilla and Son Moix.

We will redouble our efforts to put an end to these heinous incidents.”

“The Office of the Prosecutor expressed its commitment and full willingness to prosecute these

behaviors for transcending from the administrative to the criminal sphere,

requiring a forceful action for their prevention and punishment.”

“They will not be sanctioned with fines for administrative breaches, but will be accused of

committing crimes.”

Hopefully, criminal action will deter these attacks against Vinicius, as he wants to focus solely on football. Vinicius has been a big name for Los Blancos in the recent seasons and will surely achieve even more glory in the future.
