Bayern Munich is not willing to make any new purchases when the transfer window opens in the winter. Rumors are ripe that the Bayern Munich team management thinks that the current squad is more than capable and does not require additions and they will make any bids only when the transfer window opens next summer.
In a new interview, Edin Terzić, coach of BVB 09 gave his views on the Mat Hummels snub. He does not seem to be unhappy with Mat Hummels expressing his views in the public and fallout of it. He said:
“In the past, it was said: We’re too nice to each other, but as soon as we say something you only hear it’s angry speech. It was important to me that he used the word ‘we.’ He did. It was also important to me that we also discuss this internally. We did that too,”.
He further added:
“It’s about wanting to get better. But for me, it’s about not pointing fingers at others. That’s why I don’t have a problem with him using the ‘we’.”
In the English Premier League, news came that Chelsea is looking to make big purchases from the Bundesliga next summer. The list is long and does include Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund, Christopher Nkunku and Joško Gvardiol of RB Leipzig, and Benjamin Pavard of Bayern Munich.
Also, Manchester United made a bid to buy João Felix from Athletico Madrid but its high bid of €130 million was rejected. Also, Thomas Tuchel has reportedly rejected the offer of taking on the Manager’s hat coming from two Premier League clubs.
