Dutch giants wants to sign the 21 y/o Blues talent in January

The Blues are heavily linked in the market ahead of the Winter transfer window in January. Keeping aside any rumors of arrivals, we could definitely see some players leave West London mid season. And young talent Cesare Casadei is one of them, who could leave Chelsea in January.

The 21-year-old joined the Blues camp in 2022. He left the Italian giants Inter Milan to join the Chelsea u-21’s side at the age of 19. They paid a initial £12.6 million to Inter for the young talent. However, since his arrival Cesare haven’t got enough minutes at the top flight.

Cesare is naturally a holding midfielder. But with his defensive abilities, the 21-year-old can play at any position in the backline. He is tall and strong, very calm with the ball on his feet and also has a great aerial ability. Cesare has everything that a holding midfielder needs. His playstyle is very similar to the current Ballon d’Or holder Rodri of Man City.

Feyenoord wants Cesare Casadei

However, lack of minutes at the highest level could kill the potential of Cesare Casadei. Though he is still 21 but many players have become a important player for top clubs around the world at such age. Cesare has only managed to get 3 starts this season under Maresca. Two of them came in the Conference League and the other in the EFL cup against Barrow.

That is why Chelsea wants to let the Italian join another team on loan in the upcoming Winter transfer window. They want him to play more minutes at the top level. Cesare Casadei did have loan spells at Leicester and Reading in the last couple of seasons.

He was also linked with a move away during the Summer but the youngster chose to stay at the Stamford Bridge. However, he is very much expected to leave Chelsea on loan in January as the reports of Chelsea News says, Dutch club Feyenoord have expressed their interest on him. It will be the best possible option for both the parties at this stage.
