Dybala-Inter transfer continues to gain momentum

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Dybala is tipped to leave Juventus at the end of the season and Inter Milan are one of the interested party to sign him on a free transfer. The Argentine is an integral part of the team but has not yet agreed on a contract extension from Juventus.

Dybala and his rise.

Dybala, moved to Italy in 2012 after he signed for Palermo. He played there for 3 years and then signed for Juventus in 2015. He was signed on a five-year deal for a fee of €32 million (plus €8 million in add-ons). Since then he has performed consistently for the Bianconeri and has scored 80 goals in 202 appearances in all competitions. Moreover, he is also their third-highest goalscorer in the Champions League.

But now the 28-year old forward wants to leave Juventus and is looking for new pastures. He could find his new club in Italy itself with Inter Milan. They are looking to replace Lautaro Martinez, who is also Dybala’s National teammate. Dybala, with his Seria A experience can easily fit into Lautaro’s shoes if he decided to leave.

Moreover, Inter Milan’s forward line has reached its peak. Their striker Edin Dzeko will turn 36 this year and is needed to be replaced by a young forward. Also, Alexis Sanchez could leave Inter in this summer window. So Inter will require new blood along with some experienced forward players. They could sign Dybala for free and also sign a young striker to partner him in the summer.

Some Juventus fans don’t want him to join Inter to maintain his Juventus legacy. He could also move to England with Spurs and is interested in the attacker. In Spain, the likes of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be interested In him.

Lastly, It’s only a matter of time before he leaves Juventus for free this summer and joins another big club.
