Jadon Sancho’s move from Manchester United to Chelsea is finally done.
Chelsea and Manchester United agreed to a deal in the final hours of the transfer window.
The England international will join the Blues on an initial loan deal from Manchester United until the end of the season.
The loan deal is obligated to be made permanent next summer with an added potential release clause.
Chelsea has not paid a loan fee but will cover Sancho’s wages for the majority of the season.
Winger’s performance and Chelsea’s success can decide the future of Sancho with the Blues.
As per the transfer deal, the transfer fees could go up to 25 million euros, reported by the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Jadon started his career at Watford, before joining Manchester City when he was 14.
Three years later Sancho signed with Borussia Dortmund, the German club Where he showed his true potential as a winger.
Sancho joined Manchester United from Dortmund in the transfer saga of 2023.
Although since his arrival at Old Trafford, the Englishman has struggled to find form making only 83 appearances for the club.
Sancho has a score tally of 12 goals and 6 assists for the Red Devils.
Jadon rejoined Dortmund in January and made an important contribution in helping reach the club in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
His return to Man United although has been sort of underwhelming.
Sancho was restricted to the bench in the community shield match.
Jadon also had a stirry relationship with the Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag since his return from Borussia Dortmund.
The Forward is looking to get back into form under a new form of leadership.
As a Manchester United player, Sancho has not played for the team for almost 12 months,

After the completion of Signing Jadon Sancho came out to the media and said:
‘ I’m very excited to be here. London is where i grew up and i’m happy to be back.
‘The manager spoke to me about the project and as a new player, its exciting. Hopefully i can bring goals and assists to the bridge.’
Jadon also said that a phone call the Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca finalised his decision of moving to Chelsea.
The winger said that he had been aware of Blue’s manager for quiet some time even when Sancho played for the Manchester City academy.
Sancho left Man City in 2017 before Maresca arrived three years later.
On talking about Maresca’s style of play Sancho added:
‘I enjoy his style of play. The wingers when they get on the ball, he loves to see them go one versus one and be direct. We play a lot of one-twos with the 10s and the striker combination plays. It’s very attractive and it’s a style that I play.
Revealing more about his decision to move to Chelsea unfolded Sancho said:
‘ It was the last day of the transfer window so a bit of crazy was expected but i’m really happy that it’s all done.
‘Chelsea is an iconic club. My idols growing up were Didier Drgba and Frank Lampard and now i have the oppurtunity to play for this club like them. Its a great feeling.
Sanchos role with the Blues
Chelsea was one of the most active clubs in this summer transfer window.
They already have a heavy attacking lineup but they can use a dedicated winger.
After their left winger, Raheem Sterling left the Blues to join Arsenal to play under the wing of Mikel Arteta.
Jadon Sancho seems to be the perfect replacement of Sterling for Chelsea.
The English winger is set to join the Blues in the coming days at Stanford Bridge under the manager Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea have their next match lined up against Crystal Palace.
