Brahim Diaz has came up through Manchester City academy. He went on to play 15 games before being sold at just £15 million in 2018. Diaz joined Real Madrid where he was unable to get in the starting lineup.
After playing just 21 matches in 2 seasons at Madrid, Diaz joined AC Milan on loan. The 25 year old spent 3 seasons on loan in Italy and impressed very much which caused Madrid to bring him back.
Diaz then had a very good last season where he played 44 matches. This was the best season in Diaz’s career as he scored 12 goals and picked 8 assists. He also became Champion of Europe for the first time in his career.
After such an impressive season, Diaz was expected to be used more often by Carlo Ancelotti. Instead, he has not been able to play regularly due to the heavy competition.

Arsenal and Liverpool keen to sign Brahim Diaz
As per Todo Fichajes, both Arsenal and Liverpool are keen to sign the 25 year old. Diaz is a very highly rated attacker and can play in any attacking position. His versatility makes him a key asset for any team he plays in.
Gunners can find a very good backup for Saka and Odegaard in form of Diaz. In addition, the Moroccan can even compete with Gabriel Martinelli for the starting position. If required, he can also cover for the striker.
On the other hand, Liverpool can view Diaz as the perfect replacement for Mohamed Salah. Salah is in the final six months of his current contract and there are no talks at the moment about extension.
Madrid will like to keep Diaz at the club and have tied him with contract running until 2027. But the player can force a move away due to lack of game time. Los Blancos are expected to ask for a hefty transfer fee for a player of Diaz’s quality.
