Chelsea star Renato Viega is wanted by one Italian club on loan. Viega is on of the favourited of Enzo Maresca. The Italian club is showing high interest to get the deal done in January itself.
Renato Viega joined the Blues just six months ago in summer. The West London club paid £12 million to Basel in order of securing Viega’s signature. The 21 year quickly became favourite of new boss Enzo Maresca.
Viega can play in variety of positions. He can play as centre back, full back, holding midfielder and even as central midfielder. However, the 21 year old is mainly being used as left back by Maresca.
Maresca even prefers Viega over the natural left back Ben Chilwell. He considers the 19 year old as backup for Cucurella and hence wants to part ways with Ben Chilwell.
Despite Maresca rating the 21 year old this highly, he is recieving attention from other clubs. Now, one Italian club has shown interest to sign him this month.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Italian giants Napoli are showing interest in Viega. They are looking at the 19 year old as an option and are keen to sign him on loan. In addition, some more clubs are also interested to sign him.
Napoli are also linked with many other players like Jakub Kiwior. They even made a move for Kiwior earlier. However, it was quickly turned down by Arsenal. Now, Kiwior is again on the market as he is unhappy at North London.
As for Veiga, it is very unlikely that Chelsea agrees a loan move. Firstly, he is in the favour of Maresca who has used him in 17 games so far this season. In addition, Ben Chilwell is linked with exit and hence the Blues will want Viega with them to maintain the squad depth.
