About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Recently signed Brentford midfielder Eriksen completed his first training session with the club and his new teammates on Monday.

Brentford signed Eriksen in this winter transfer window giving his second chance. However, Eriksen fought all the odds and have completed his first training session along with his new teammates.

Eriksen has a great relationship with his new manager. Adding more, the bees boss teased the press by saying that Eriksen might be the greatest signing of the club history.

“It is potentially the greatest signing ever for Brentford…although I did speak to one fan who reckoned there was a player 70 years ago who was as good! I think that was a myth,” Frank said last week

Eriksen’s comeback to football and Brentford

For Eriksen, just returning on the pitch is a big achievement in itself. The player’s partner Sabrina went as far as to say that their family couldn’t imagine Eriksen playing football again. Inter terminated Eriksen’s contract because of the rules which didn’t allow him to play in Serie A. With the mutual agreement, the player was on a hunt for a new challenge.

In came Brentford, giving Eriksen a sensational and miraculous return to the premier league. The former Tottenham midfielder was quite excited to get this opportunity. Without a doubt, his relationship with the Brentford boss made the process easier.

The former Spurs player Eriksen, without a doubt, was a crucial part of Tottenham as well as Inter. In the premier league, he was scoring more goals than any midfielder of his age. Eriksen scored in 32% of his appearances for Spurs. For Inter Eriksen’s stats were not bad as well.

The player known for his vision, calmness, and control can do wonders for a team that knows how to use him. There is still some time for the debut of Eriksen for Brentford but the level of excitement for seeing the same happen will increase day by day.
