Fabio Capello wants to swap Harry Kane for Dybala, not Paul Pogba.
Fabio Capello would want to swap the in-form Harry Kane with Paulo Dybala and not Pogba. The former Italian talisman feels that Dybala and Kane swap deal will work out to be better instead of a Pogba-Dybala swap deal.
The 27-year-old Argentinian has struggled this season for Juventus where he has found the back of the net twice in 13 appearances that raised a lot of questions about his form. Although most of his appearances came from the bench as he is now down in pecking order behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata.
Pogba has been linked with a move to Juventus with a swap deal that would involve Dybala also being touted. But Capello doesn’t think Pogba is the best player that Juventus can swap Dybala with and said Kane is their best option.
Capello backs Dybala to succeed at Juventus?
Capello believes that Dybala would find his form as he starts to play more matches and when he is more involved then he would be able to get back the rhythm in which he used to play. Capello told La Gazzetta Dello Sport via Football Italia.
“Covid is the explanation, especially for a player like Dybala, who needs to dribble a man,”
Fabio feels that Dybala needs time to find his form and if Juventus plan on offloading him then they should sign Kane as a replacement and not Pogba.
“The impression is that he’s a bit unfinished. He captivates but leaves doubts. He certainly has superior qualities; he really has all you need.
“Dybala can do everything on the pitch if he is well, even playing in a trident with Morata and Ronaldo”.-Fabio Capello
Therefore Juventus would want Dybala’s agent to respond to the new contract they have proposed which is worth €10 million a season and the response to it would decide whether Dybala would remain in Juventus or not.
