Fantasy Premier League(FPL) Gameweek 25 saw Leeds United players dominating the points list. Defender Stuart Dallas recorded 17 points as he scored a goal, kept a clean sheet, and earned 3 bonus points as well. His other Leeds United teammates Struijk and Raphina also featured in Kings of the Gameweek 25.
Average points were 55 and highest points were 135 for the Gameweek 25, where Leeds United and Southampton played two fixtures. Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes is currently being the most transferred-in player. Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish is the most transferred-out player due to injury concerns.
Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes leading the race for total FPL points with 190 after Gameweek 25. He has 26 points more than second-placed Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
Players to target FPL double Gameweek 26:
Jamie Vardy: The Foxes forward has grabbed only 12 points from the last five gameweeks with 1 goal and 1 assist. But has an amazing run of fixtures in the upcoming gameweeks. He will be also a very good captaincy choice this gameweek 26, having an amazing goal-scoring record against Arsenal and also facing Burnley side in the bottom half this game-week.
Ilkay Gundagon: The German midfielder has been in an amazing run of goal-scoring form and also stepped in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne even when he is not on the score sheet he is contributing in one or another manner. Gundogan is a very good captaincy pick coming into this double-gameweek. The German has 43 points from last five game-weeks grabbing 4 goals and 1 assist.
Josh Maja: Maja might come in as a shock but could be the differential pick of the upcoming game-week. Only 1.1% of the FPL managers own him, The Ex-Sunderland man is a goal-poacher who came in winter transfer as a replacement for Aleksander Mitrovic. Maja scored 2 goals in his first start for Fulham against Everton giving Fulham the win against Carlo Ancelloti’s men.
Players to avoid in FPL Gameweek 26:
Mohammed Salah: Though the Egyptian king has 4 goals in the last 5 games getting 33 points in them. For this double-game-week, he will not be a good pick as Liverpool face Sheffield United and Chelsea. Both being very good defensive sides so there won’t be many chances to get huge returns but for the long run you can get him and this move will pay off.
Kevin De Bruyne: The Belgian midfielder is back from injury but hasn’t done much but many of the FPL managers have got him hoping to expect a huge return this double-game-week. Rather than going for Belgian whose price is 11.7 rather, you can go for teammate Gundagon who is in superb form and comes at a price of 6.1.
Jack Grealish: The Aston Villa star is not fit yet to make the start and will be a doubt for the game against Leeds so it will be difficult to get full 90 minutes in both games.
Tottenham Hotspur have good fixtures this double-game-week but for a long run they haven’t been in good form recently in the league so getting both Son and Kane might be risky it will be better to have either Son or Kane.
How our team fared in FPL GW 25 and what’s next for GW 26?
Our Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 25 team fared decently getting 74 points in total while the average being 55 points. This game-week rank for our team being 1,269,825 while the last game-week rank being 4,910,392.
We had tripled on Leeds United by getting Stuart Dallas, Rapinha, and Patrick Bamford. With all of them giving returns. No other defender apart from Dallas gave return.
Our star midfielders Son and Salah also blanked, while only Bruno Fernandes and Rapinha giving returns in midfield. Both Bruno and Rapinha are in amazing form and are two of the must haves and most consistent players in FPL.
We already used wildcard last week so there are only three chips remaining which we will use when there arises a situation to use them. The double-game-week this week looks a very good time to use the Free-Hit chip with so many potential players of giving huge returns are present.
