Fiorentina have increased the asking price of their starlet and Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic to €60 million, who is one of the targets for AC Milan in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Vlahovic has been having his best season for La Viola. At the age of 21-year-old, the striker managed to score 17 goals and three assists in 32 Serie A games.
The Gigliati bought the Serbian international from Partizan Belgrade for just €2 million in 2018. Vlahovic is currently contracted with Fiorentina until June 2023.
Will Milan go all out for Fiorentina striker Vlahovic?
According to reports, the Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic is one of the targets for Milan in the summer. However, it won’t be a walk in the park for the Rossoneri to land the highly-rated Serbian forward at San Siro.
The renowned Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has already set the price up for their starlet to €60 million for this summer. The amount is huge for any club in this climate of the pandemic. So, Milan have to break the bank if they are desperately willing to bring the 21-year-old striker in this summer.
AC Milan have bought two veteran strikers in their squad Mario Mandzukic and Ibrahimovic. The gamble of Mandzukic hasn’t been successful like it was on the Ibrahimovic’ occasion. So, they are in the market for a young striker.
It will be interesting to see what Milan decide over the next few months about signing Vlahovic from Fiorentina. Will they pay the full amount of €60 million to La Viola or can Rossoneri bring the price down? It will be a fascinating saga in this summer transfer window.
