Former Arsenal u-21 forward will feel ‘fantastic’ to rejoin the club

The Gunners have had done some great business in the summer transfer window earlier this season. They have brought in a couple of great players to reinforce their defensive structure. The players are none other than the Euro 2024 stars Mikel Merino and Riccardo Calafiori.

Though the Spanish midfielder got injured in his first ever training session with the Gunners and was out for almost 2 months. But he is back from the injury and will be fully fit to make his debut appearance after the international break.

On the other hand, the Italian defender has played his part very well so far. Apart from his wonderful recoveries and tackles, Calafiori has also registered his name on the scoring sheet. As he scored a belter of an equalizer against Man City last month.

However, Arsenal have also brought in veteran winger Raheem Sterling on a year long deal from club rivals Chelsea. Apart from that the Gunners have also managed to cash out some players in the window. As they sold the likes of Aaron Ramsdale and Emile Smith-Rowe for a combined total of £45 million plus add-ons.

But Arsenal have also sold another young player during the window, who is on top form so far this season.

Mika Biereth is on fire with his new club

Arsenal sold their u-21 talent Mika Biereth to Austrian side SK Sturm Graz for a fee of £4 million earlier this summer. The Danish youth level footballer joined the Arsenal camp back in 2021 from Fulham’s academy. As he was one of the hottest prospect in the u-18 Premier League in the 2020-21 season.

At the age of 18, Mika had scored 21 goals and registered 13 assists in 22 games for the Cottagers u-18 side. He even got promoted to the u-21 and u-23 side in that particular season before getting sold to the Gunners. However, things had been hard for Mika since then.

After joining the Gunners camp in 2021 Mika had failed to break into the first team. Even though he had 11 goals and 6 assists for the u-23 team, the 21-year-old didn’t the approval from Mikel Arteta for a senior team call up. Mika had to play for two different sides on loan last season. In the first half of the season he played for Scottish side Motherwell And in the latter part he played for his current team Sturm Graz .

After a decent outing in different parts of the world, Arsenal finally decided to sell Mika Biereth this season to the Austrian side. And now the young striker is literally on fire with them so far. The Danish lad has already crossed his last season tally in just 9 matches. As Mika scored 7 goals for Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga.

He even grabbed his first ever international goal with Denmark against Czechia u-21’s during the international break last week. Recently Mika even stated something interesting about his future.

Mika will love to play for the Arsenal again

In a recent interview with TV2 in Denmark, Mika Biereth opened up about his future plans. Talking about present Mika stated that he is happy with his current situation right now.

“I have nothing to complain about right now. I play every week at a good level, and now we also play in the Champions League, where I’m still waiting for my first goal.”

Mika even mentioned if he keeps performing like these he can manage to move to a big European club. He even showed his desire to return to the London based club.

“A return back to Arsenal would be fantastic, but it’s not something I’m focusing on right now.”

If fate works, then we can see the return of the young striker in the near future. And who knows, maybe Mika can be the solution for Arsenal’s striker problem that they are facing.
