Mykhailo Mudryk is struggling at Chelsea. The 23-year-old winger has failed to live up to his expectations with the London side. At the same time, he has also gone on to lose his place in the starting XI now. Man Utd loanee Jadon Sancho has gone on to steal his spot. The Blues bought him for big bucks in 2023. They would go on to spend £89 million on him. But, many believe that the winger hasn’t proven to be worth the price. So, there is plenty of pressure on him to perform and do better. Hopefully, he can get his career back on track as soon as possible.
Mykhailo Mudryk for Chelsea so far…
Since joining, he would not even open his scoring account in his debut Premier League season. As per wikipedia, he made 17 appearances in his first campaign for the Blues. Then, he would go on to score 7 times last season. As of now, he has still not found the back of the net this campaign. Meanwhile, as per transfermarkt, Mykhailo Mudryk only has 14 G/A in 66 appearances for Chelsea. When we look at those stats, it is safe to say that he has been a flop so far. Yes, he has the potential. But, he simply has been unable to perform.
Most overrated Premier League Player?
As per metro, Enzo Maresca urged the fans to accept the winger as he is. At the same time, he would suggest that the 23-year-old had to earn more minutes and do better. And so, he could finally earn his place back in the starting XI. Quite recently, former Everton defender Alan Stubbs would go on to make comments about the winger. He would suggest that Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk is the most overrated. Also, as per him, the 23-year-old has been the biggest disappointment so far.
