Franck Kessie’s agent talks with Barcelona director to discuss his future

Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie’s agent George Atangana seems to have a meeting with Mateu Alemany to discuss about his situation. Barcelona seems to be already started with their training session. Sergi Roberto, Hector Bellerin, and Marcos Alonso are seemed to be in the training session while Araujo and Kessie are still recovering.

However, it looks like Kessie is not applicable to the plans of Barcelona manager Xavi. Kessie has played in only 13 matches for Barcelona, with his first goal on Barcelona’s win over Viktoria Plzen. Barcelona likes to play Busquets, Pedri, and Gavi in the middle leaving Kessie in the process. Now, it seems very likely for the Ivory Coast midfielder to leave the club.

It’s almost certain that Kessie is not getting enough playtime at Camp Nou leading to rumors of him leaving. Barcelona is already desperate to release players which will help in their financial crisis. Hence Kessie is rumored to be released by the club possibly to Italian giants AC Milan or Inter Milan.

KESSIE AGENT ATANGANA MEETS WITH MATEU ALEMANY

According to a tweet from Gerard Romero, Kessie’s agent decides to meet with Mateu Alemany to check on Kessie’s situation. Atangana visited the Ciutat Esportiva complex to have a discussion with the Barcelona director.

In spite of all the rumors circulating around Kessie, his agent has repeatedly declined any possibility of Kessie moving from Barcelona. Nevertheless, AC Milan and Inter Milan are hoping to get the midfielder into their squad. Meanwhile, it looks like Kessie intends to stay at Barcelona and wants to prove his worth to the Catalans.

The 25-year-old only started in 2 matches for Barcelona in La Liga and 3 in the Champions League. However, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Kessie. Although he is currently recovering from injuries, it all depends on Xavi whether he will like Kessie to play more for Barcelona.
