About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

The Danish international footballer has been playing as a central defender for Olympique Lyonnais since 2019. Joachim Andersen arrived on loan in Fulham in the last hours of the mercato. Today, Joachim Andersen is a target for Arsenal and Tottenham.

The 24-year-old player had waited a month before participating in the game because of an ankle injury.  Since then, he has never been out of the eleven. Before his loan, the former OL player lacked confidence in him. He arrived at OL in 2019 for €26 million but quickly realized that his future at the club was in danger.

We find him at Fulham with a smile. The choice to leave on loan without an option to buy in England is paying off. Since his arrival in Fulham, Joachim Andersen has undoubtedly become a starter by playing 100% of the games in the Premier League.

As the season progresses, he hopes to save his club, before perhaps returning to Olympique Lyonnais.

In February, Fulham even had two wins, before defeating Liverpool in person on March 7. Andersen was voted man of the match, before being named player of the month. The Dane has recovered the captaincy after only 4 matches, taking advantage of the long absence of Tom Cairney’s injury.

Lyon has not yet taken a firm decision on the future of Joachim Andersen. He is under contract until June 2024, the Gones would expect an offer of around 30 million euros to release the Danish international.

The Gunners, who are looking for a possible successor to David Luiz, are ready to make an offer according to the Sunday Mirror. Valued at only 15 million euros, Joachim Andersen could be sold for 22 million euros.
