It is Fulham against Chelsea on Saturday night at Craven Cottage in the Premier League fixture.
The Cottagers are currently at the wrong side of the table at the 18th position. However, the Blues have won only four out of the last 10 PL matches and are struggling at 9th place.
Scott Parker’s side come from a 1-1 away draw to another London club, Tottenham Hotspur.
Fulham vs Chelsea : Preview
Fulham look full on confidence and energy as they kept Spurs at bay drawing that match. However, it would be difficult for them to keep Lampard’s young guns away from a win.
Out of the 85 matches played between the two teams, Chelsea have an upper hand winning 48 matches and the Whites winning only 26.
Fulham last won 1-0 in Craven Cottage against Chelsea way back in 2006. A win for them will help them avoid the relegation zone for time being.
However, Frank Lampard need some wins to ease the pressure on him. He is facing a different situation as compared to the last season. Ruben Loftus-Cheek would be keen on playing against his former club.
A win would take the Pensioners to 7th place although the position would be temporary. The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 2-1 away win for the Blues in 2019.
