Gareth Bale Planning a Return to Real Madrid from Tottenham

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Gareth Bale would be returning to Real Madrid after his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur. After an almost disastrous season at Spurs, the Welsh captain might be returning to Spain.

Bale is currently preparing himself alongside his Welsh teammates for the crunch encounter against World No.1 side Belgium. The footballing world now turns its attention towards International football as World Cup Qualifiers and friendlies are scheduled for the coming weeks.

The 31-year-old right-winger joined the Lilywhites after getting almost no playing time under Zinedine Zidane. But currently, it seems he would be moving back to where he belongs.

Will Bale’ move back to Madrid trigger a ‘BBC’ reunion?

Gareth Bale had scored 105 goals in 251 appearances for Los Blancos till the last season. He had been equally brilliant scoring ten goals in 25 appearances so far for the Spurs.

“Going into the Euros I wanted to be match-fit. The original plan was to do a season at Spurs and after the Euros still have a year left at Real Madrid. My plan is to go back, that’s as far I have planned.” – Gareth Bale said about his plans to get back to Madrid.

This, however, backfired with fans and rivals alike mocking the club.

Wales, unfortunately, didn’t qualify for the 2018 World Cup after a loss to Ireland. However, Bale wishes that his country qualifies for the next World Cup.

Also, the links of Cristiano Ronaldo’s reunion with his former club are getting stronger and we might witness the re-emergence of Bale-Benzema-Cristiano trident! However, the Portuguese veteran is also under the radar of his other former club, Manchester United.
