Gary Neville thinks one signing can help Chelsea win league title

Manchester United legend Gary Neville thinks one particular signing can help Chelsea win the Premier League title. Neville has been supported by his co-hosts and one Chelsea legend has also said some similar things earlier.

Chelsea had a very good few weeks before yesterday. They were defeated by tables toppers Liverpool at Anfield. The Blues did dominate the game but fell short by just one goal. Now, some football greats have spoken about where The Blues are falling short and which area they need to improve.

Gary Neville tells Chelsea to sign a world class striker

United legend Neville thinks that Chelsea can win the Premier League if they sign a world class striker. He had no hard feelings for Nicolas Jackson who is unstoppable this season. Neville spoke highly about Jackson too and said he has bright future at Stamford Bridge. But, the United legend feels like Jackson needs support in front of him.

“I just think if he had a world-class striker in front of him, and he was the second striker, that would probably be more aligned with a team who can go on and potentially win a title in few years time and catch Liverpool up” – Neville while speaking on Sky Sports podcast.

Daniel Sturridge has also agreed on what Neville said and called Jackson a better player in false nine position. He praised Jackson’s goal and said it was fantastic and calm finish in front of the goal. Jackson has really improved under Enzo Maresca and now has 8 goal contributions in 8 league matches.

Lastly, Chelsea legend Florent Malouda said earlier that The Blues need to sign world class striker. He recommended Victor Osimhen who is the club’s top target for next year. Malouda thinks that signing Osimhen will take Chelsea closer to the level of Arsenal and Man City.
