Performance Analysis of Bengaluru FC in the Season 2022-23

Let’s start with the Durand Cup first. During the Durand Cup, Simon was the undefeated team there. He did start the defense with Jhingan, Alan, Namgyal Bhutia and Hira Mondal as Roshan Naorem was recovering from a knock that he had faced in the practice. This defense worked very well with GSS in goal.

Coming to the mid-field, it was the partnership between Bruno Ramires Edgar and Suresh Singh Wangjam that kept it jam-packed. Then coming to the attack, it was the triplet of Javi, Sunil and Udanta that supplied many of them to Roy Krishna.

Bengaluru FC under him transformed completely and they were one of the most dangerous team with Sivashakti joining the attack in the 2nd Part of the league. The thing that has surprised the most in his coaching which is his formation. 3-5-2 was the ideal formation for Bengaluru FC. The midfield being packed with Javi, Suresh and Rohit, who was a surprise package for Bengaluru FC. And the Wing-backs, mainly, Roshan and Prabir did take a much workload and defended well

In turn, the staying of Simon Grayson will boost the dug-out of “The Blues”. This coach will work wonders for the team while he stays.
