Gunners keen to sign Premier League star who is on fire

Gunners are keen to sign attackers next season as they have felt a need in recent days. Their injury crises has made attackers top priority for next year. Arsenal are now looking to sign Bryan Mbeumo who has been unstoppable this season.

Gunners have felt a need to improve their attacking line. They parted ways with many players this summer. Some were sent on loan whereas some left permanently. Mikel Arteta was able to get good results until they were haunted with constant injury news.

Arsenal saw their captain Martin Odegaard injured. But, they were still able to get good results as Bukayo Saka stepped up. But after Saka got injured, Arsenal were not able to stay clinical in the final third.

Arsenal do not have a proper backup for Saka and hence are looking to sign Bryan Mbeumo as per Mick Brown. Brown is former Man United scout and still has good connections inside.

“I’ve heard Arsenal have been loking at him. I can see that move being a possibility. They have done deals like that in the past when they signed Trossard for example, who have come in and benefited their squad” – Brown speaking to Football Insider.

Later Brown praised Mbeumo and said that he can be a quality backup for Saka. He also spoke highly about Mbeumo’s versatility. But Brown believes that Brentford will not like to lose Mbeumo in january as he is a very important player for them right now.

How can Mbeumo benefit Arsenal?

Mbeumo is the second highest goalscorer in the Premier League right now. He has scored 8 goals in just 9 league games. He can provide a quality backup for Saka, but can also play anywhere in front along with playing as a striker or behind a striker.

His stats for the opening 9 games are very impressive. He has 21 total shots out of which 12 are on target. Along with 76% passing accuracy he has created an impressive amount of 17 chances.

Mbeumo can fall back and help his team in defending too. He has 80% tackle success rate and has been able to win 38 duels so far. He has made 49 recoveries along with winning possesion 12 times in final third.

His overall skills suggests that Mbeumo has a very bright future. He is only 25 years old and can have a long term future at Arsenal. Mikel Arteta can view him as a solution for all his attacking problems and make a move for the attacker soon.
