How will Inter Milan manage after Milan Skriniar leaves for PSG?

Milan Skriniar

The club expects full commitment from Milan Skriniar despite his ongoing contract with PSG. His attendance at Inter’s 1-0 win over Atalanta on Tuesday showed that he is still part of the club. When his contract with the Serie A giants expires, the Slovakia international will join PSG as a free agent.

During this season, the defender has appeared 19 times for Simone Inzaghi’s side in Serie A, leading the Italian giants into the top four. There has been a queue for his signature as a result of his impressive displays in Europe.

Inter’s relationship with Milan Skriniar at the moment

Inzaghi will continue to rely on Skriniar until June, according to Repubblica. In his last match for Inter, Skriniar was sent off in a Coppa Italia match against Empoli. During Sunday’s Milan derby, he will likely start in a three-man defense.

Against Atalanta on Tuesday, Simone Inzaghi‘s side won 1-0. Repubblica reports Skriniar didn’t even watch the game at the Stadio Meazza, choosing instead to watch from home. Prior to kickoff, Beppe Marotta expressed that Inter respected his choice, but he urged the defender to commit to the team until the end of the season.

According to Sneijder, the imminent departure of Milan Skriniar is the result of management problems. Despite the potential departure of the defender, Sneijder says Inter will do just fine. He said:

“Inter have a great squad and won’t suffer from this problem, but there will be others.”

“They need someone to take responsibility and say ‘enough is enough, now we only talk about playing football and that’s it.”

Now what the future holds for Skriniar will be interesting to see.
