Mohammedan SC rope in former Kerala Blasters midfielder Avinabo Bag


I-League club Mohammedan SC have successfully signed former Kerala Blasters FC midfielder Avinabo Bag ahead of the upcoming edition of the I-League, the club announced it on their Twitter handle.

The player has vast experience in playing across multiple leagues in India. He was even a part of Kerala Blasters FC during the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League where he made four appearances. The evergreen player played for Bhawanipore FC during the recently concluded I-League qualifiers but unfortunately couldn’t lead the side make it to the I-League.

The 31-year old will bolster The Black Panthers midfield having experience in playing for Pailan Arrows (currently known as Indian Arrows), Eagles FC Southern Samity, and Peerless.

The West-Bengal player played for Kolkata giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan too. Avinabo Bag can also play a vital role as a full-back during his club’s upcoming I-League campaign.

Mohammedan SC recently completed the signing of Indian defender Arashpreet Singh and Ghanaian striker Philip Adjah to strengthen their squad.
