Mohammedan SC extend the contracts of their three goalkeepers


I-League club Mohammedan SC has extended contracts with three of their goalkeepers ahead of the upcoming season 2020-21. Priyant Singh, Miraj Ali Ata, and Subham Roy have signed a year contract extension with their club.

Priyant Singh, 28 is a part of the club since 2018 and previously was a part of the club from 2012 – 2016. Priyant will be the club’s first-choice goalkeeper after having played for East Bengal, Churchill Brothers, Gokulam Kerala FC, and Calcutta Customs.

Miraj Ali, 20, and Subham Roy, 23 joined the Black Panthers last season and will contribute to play for the side for another season. Ali is a product of ATK U-18 and adds a lot of value to the club.

The New edition of the Hero I-League will start from 9th January 2021 with 11 teams to participate. It will be held at Kolkata only due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mohammedan recently made their return to I-League through qualifiers after 7 years of break. They have already signed key players Philip Adjah, Alen Deory, and Avinabo Bag to strengthen their squad.
