Gokulam Kerala FC sign Mahip Adhikari from Garhwal FC


Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the signing of young midfielder Mahip Adhikari from the second division club Garhwal FC. The 22-year-old midfielder led the side during the recently concluded I-League qualifiers.

Mahip had assisted four times during the league qualifiers and was under GKFC’s radar for a long time. His excellent performance earned him a spot in the Gokulam Kerala FC squad ahead of the upcoming season of I-League.

He is a graduate from Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools and played for them in the under-18 category before making a move to Garhwal Football Club.

The young and promising talent has exposure to training in Holland and Portugal which will be an extra benefit for his club. Gokulam Kerala finished fifth in the points table last season and will be looking to finish above this season.

Mahip Adhikari and club officials excited over big transfer:

Mahip Adhikari is excited to play in the upcoming I-League edition, stated after joining Kerala giants.
