After an 11 match winless streak, India secured the first win against Bangladesh in two years. A double goal by Sunil Chetrri against Bangladesh in the last match ensured three points to the Blue tigers. Now, The National Team of India is all set to face Afghanistan in the FIFA World Cup Qualifier and AFC Asian Cup 2023 joint Qualifiers on Tuesday. The qualifier will take place at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium starting from 7:30 (IST) in Qatar.

At current the Blue Tigers are placed third in the Group E table of FIFA World Cup Qualifier with just one win and three draws in 7 fixtures. Indian Team head coach Igor Stimac aims to finish third in the table and book a place in the AFC Asian Cup.

A single point against Afghanistan will directly send the Indian team to the third round of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers.
