India vs Bangladesh: Preview
The Blues were beaten in their first match against Qatar. The result came with a red card for defender Rahul Bheke. Even after a red card, Indian team managed to keep their defense tight and strong. However, India’s attack looked weak and without any precision. Forwards like Sunil Chhetri, Manvir Singh, and Bipin Singh have to do more if they want to win. Even Head coach Igor Stimac needs to make some better tactical decisions because the team lacked composure against Qatar. Because of which they failed to create chances.
On the other hand Bangladesh, the team which is at the bottom of the group. Still they somehow managed to snatch a point from Afghanistan three days ago. They will try their level best to frustrate the Blues, like they did in 2019 after holding India on a 1-1 draw.
After witnessing the match against Qatar we could definitely say that Manvir Singh could be a game changer. The pace that Manvir showed in his last performance, was something to be praised for. His ability to make fast runs could definitely create problems for the Bangladeshi defenders.
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Gurpreet was a total beast in the match against Qatar. Making unbelievable saves and stopping the shots which looked almost impossible to even react to. He would be one among the many pillars standing in Bangladesh’s way.
Sandesh Jhingan, Sandesh would be one of the players to look at. His exceptional decision making abilities and strong defending can make a big difference in the scoresheet.
