Inter Milan and Milan Skriniar have been in the news during this transfer window for far too long now. The Slovakian defender is linked with a transfer away from the San Siro this summer. Paris Saint-Germain has expressed interest in signing the central defender to strengthen the backline.
Christophe Galtier is preferring to play a back three and the club is short of players who can fill in as central defenders in the formation. Marquinhos, Sergio Ramos, and Presnel Kimpembe are the only central defenders at the club.
The French champions are in the market to add a central defender to the squad for adequate depth in the team. Milan Skriniar has been identified as a suitable candidate by Luis Campos for the squad. However, Inter Milan have held firm that the Slovak international is not for sale.
However, Inter Milan are still hoping for an improved offer from the French capital for the defender. The ownership is said to be interested in considering an adequate offer for the player to balance the books at the Italian club.
Inter Milan can sell Milan Skriniar for an adequate price
The Chinese ownership has spent big on transfers in recent years. Romelu Lukaku has been signed again this summer to bolster their attack and the club is in need of selling some players. Paris Saint-Germain are financially stable and can lodge a big money move for the defender.
The Nerazzurri will be open to considering the offer in case it meets their valuation for the player. However, the French champions have not made a fresh offer for the defender yet. The Slovak international is an excellent central defender and has the ability to lead the team as well in the future.
However, Simeone Inzaghi will be disappointed if the club decides to sell the defender. The Italian manager rates the defender highly and wishes to continue working with him at the San Siro. The defensive department will be weakened undeniably by the departure of Milan Skriniar.
