Inter Milan are preparing a January bid to sign one Arsenal star. Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is open to let the star leave.

Gunners are going to be active in this market to sign attacking players. They are feeling need to improve their final third. In contrast, they have good depth in defence. The only problem in the backline has been injuries to many of their stars.

Other than the injuries, Arteta has a very good defensive unit. He has his list of preferred players who play regularly. This has caused unhappiness in other players and one player – Jakub Kiwior has even demanded January exit.

Kiwior is not the only defender linked with exit. He is being joined by Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Ukrainian has fallen down the pecking order and can move away from North London soon. He has interest from Serie A giants.

Inter Milan preparing January bid to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko

According to The Sun, Inter Milan are keen to sign Zinchenko this month. They are preparing an opening bid to sign him. In addition, Mikel Arteta is open to let the 28 year old leave.

Zinchenko has fallen down the pecking order from last season itself. He still played 35 games last season but this season the situation has worsened. He has played only 11 games this season across all competition. In addition, he has started in only 3 of them.

Arsenal sign Riccardo Calafiori in summer who is now the first choice left back. Besides him, Arteta has Lewis-Skelly, Timber, Kiwior and White who can all play in that position.

Zinchenko is 28 years old and in peak of his career. He will want to play regularly and keep his place in national team too. A move to Inter may still not guarantee him regular minutes. But, his chances of playing for Serie A toppers are more when compared to Arsenal.
