Amarjit Singh Kiyam set to join SC East Bengal on a loan

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Amarjit Singh Kiyam is all set to join for SC East Bengal on a loan. Further FC Goa have came to an agreement with SC East Bengal and soon we may see Amarjit Singh Kiyam in his new colours.

Certainly FC Goa brought Amarjit Singh from Jamshedpur FC this January. However the arrival of Glen Martins May seems to reduce Amarjit’s chances in FC Goa. So this loan deal looks positive for both the club and the player to keep his form up.

SC East Bengal have just started to build there squad after the issues with the investors. And the addition of the former U-17 Captain of India will add some backup for the squad.

The 20-year-old midfielder captained the U-17 side in the 2017 World Cup before moving to Indian Arrows in I-League. And his potential made Jamshedpur FC to sign him in 2018. However he made his ISL debut in 2019 only.

Amarjit Singh Kiyam made 17 Apperances for JFC before moving to FC Goa. In January 2021 he signed a multi-year deal with FC Goa and made 2 Apperance for them in ISL. Further has also made 4 AFC Apperances for the Gaurs.

And now East Bengal are keen in signing Alexander Romario and Naveen Kumar. But it seems that they will stay at FC Goa. As Naveen Kumar is considered as back-up for Dheeraj Singh. And Romario seems to go long was with the Gaurs.

At the same time Ravi Puskur , Director of Football at FC Goa explain the departure of Ishan Pandita to Jamshedpur FC.

Ishan communicated to the club during the course of the summer that he would like to explore other opportunities keeping his personal growth in mind. When the other club expressed their interest with a suitable proposal, we felt it in the best interest of all parties involved to accept the offer factoring above all of Ishan’s wish to continue to seek more playing time”. – Said Ravi Puskur, Director of Football at FC Goa.

“As a club, we have always encouraged opportunities for youngsters, and we stuck to the same principle in Ishan’s case as well. Everybody at FC Goa would like to wish Ishan all the very best for his future,” further added by him.

So let’s hope Amarjit Singh Kiyam will look to start regular at East Bengal to gain International chances.
