NorthEast United have done a spectacular job last season in the Indian Super League and have finished in the top 3 of the League. The Guwahati-based club managed to shock the whole Indian football community by losing only 3 matches out of 20.

Apuia showed his solid work rate by playing every single match for NorthEast last season. Apuia has played all of his league matches including the Play-offs spending a total of 1850 minutes on the pitch. Which is insane for a player of that age.
