It seems the Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters are trying to get their hands on whomever they can. According to the sources after Ducken Nazon, they are after another forward. Indian forward to be precise.

Jobby Justin the 27-year-old forward from Kerala itself might be the next flag bearer of Kerala’s attack next season. It might be possible to see Jobby and Duckins duo leading the attack.

The Blasters have been the team that has made numerous changes this season so, it won’t be surprising if they go ahead with another transfer.

The yellow army have already signed Serbian Ivan Vukomanovic as their coach for the next season. And a hand full of new players, they are in no mood of stopping. Jobby Justin is another player who is on their checklist, Justin is a forward who started up playing on the beaches of Vettucaud and decided to pursue it as a career when he was studying in the 8th standard. Jobby used to play for St Mary’s club where various football circles of the city had their eyes on him.

He has also represented Kerala in the Santhosh trophy where he actually started playing as a forward. On 18 July 2017 Jobby joined East Bengal for the 2017-18 I-league season. On 28th August 2018, he made his debut for East Bengal in the Calcutta Premier Division against Railways. It took him only 3 minutes to score in that match.

After 1 year at the club, Justin extended the contract for one more season. Where he improved significantly after playing under Menendez. Justin was involved in 12 goals last season which was counted for more than 50 percent of East Bengal’s goals that season.

Justin downfall and injury before Kerala Rumors

In 2019 Justin signed up to play for Atletico De Kolkata where he played 9 matches and scored 1 goal for the team. ATK were crowned as the Champions that season. Following the merger of ATK with Mohun Bagan, Justin was signed for the club which was newly merged. But unfortunately, he got ruled out for the rest of the competition because of an ACL injury.
