ATK Mohun Bagan are all set to sign Liston Colaco for a whopping transfer fee. The 22-year-old Indian Striker is one of the most promising youngsters in the Indian Super League.
A close source to Mohun Bagan said ” It wasn’t easy for Hyderabad FC to let go of one of their most exciting prospects. But the transfer fee offered by ATK Mohun Bagan happen to be too high to be denied,”.
Rumors say that this deal would be one of the highest in terms of transfer fees. Mohun Bagan are about to break the bank for Liston Colaco. The rumoured transfer fee Mohun Bagan are about to pay is near 1-crore INR for the youngster. which would break their past record of signing Manvir Singh for 80 lakhs. Now that would be something that would create a big buzz in Indian Football.
Liston Colaco born in Davorlim, Goa and a product of Salgaocar. Being the clinical striker he is, Colaco has been the top scorer of his team during 2016-17 I-league U18 with 16 goals. Liston also became the top scorer for Salgaocar’s first team during the 16-17 season scoring 13 goals in the Goa Professional League.
In 20-21, Colaco had enjoyed a brilliant spell under Manolo Marquez, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists in 9 appearances. Young Colaco dribbled past defenders with ease and class. His gameplay has already turned many heads throughout his career, and Mohun Bagan is the biggest witness of that.
