Northeast united has sealed the deal with Mathias Coureur for the upcoming ISL season. Mathias Coureur, a Turkish second-tier player, is likely to migrate to India for the next season. The 33-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Northeast United FC, with a one-year extension clause.
Mathias Coureur, a native of the Caribbean island of Martinique. He has vast experience in Asia, having played in the Korean top tier, Kazakhstan’s first division, and most recently the Turkish second division.
Mathias is poised to replace Portuguese winger Luis Machado, who parted his ways from the club.

In 80 games in the Bulgarian top division, the attacker has a total of 47 goal contributions. He has 30 goals and12 assists. Throughout his career, he has been a strong presence on the wings, and he can even play in the middle.
Coureur has agreed to a two-year contract with Cherno More Varna in Bulgaria. Mathias made his debut against Ludogorets. Coureur scored the championship-winning goal, bringing Cherno More their very first Bulgarian Cup trophy. With 9 goals in all competitions, he concluded the season as the club’s top scorer.
