- Juventus have shown interest in Ben Chilwell
- Chilwell and Chelsea may part ways in January itself
- Man United are also in the race for the talented 27 year old
Ben Chilwell joined Chelsea in 2020 for €54 million. His first season was very good where he helped the Blues to win UEFA Champions League. But after that season, the English star found it hard to leave his mark.
Chilwell has been highly injury prone which have limited him to only 107 appearances in 5 season. This season has been even worse as the 27 year old has only played 45 minutes of football.
Enzo Maresca has made it clear that Chilwell is not in his plans for future. The Blues wanted to sell the player in summer itself. But the deal never happened as Chilwell was injured at that time.
A January move is very likely with both player and club ready to part ways. It can be a loan move with Serie A giants highly interested. Chelsea’s english rival Man United are also in the race.
Juventus interested to sign Ben Chilwell in january
As per Tuttosport, Juve has identified Chilwell as a top target for January. The Serie A giants are currently struggling in defending. Both Bremer and Juan Cabal will miss the rest of the season due to injury.
Chilwell is unhappy with the lack of game time at Chelsea this season. He is very likely open to take the exit route in January itself. Juve seems like a very good option as they will also provide the 27 year old with UCL football.
On the other hand, Man United are also keeping tabs on Chilwell. They are in desperate need to sign a left back. Both Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw are still injured and are yet to feature this season.
