- Juventus have revived their interest in Cesare Casadei
- The 21 year old is currently struggling for game time at Chelsea
- A move is very likely to happen in January with many other clubs keen to sign the Italian
Cesare Casadei joined Chelsea in 2022 from Inter Milan. He was then sent away on loan on two different occasions. Casadei impressed in last season’s first half with Leicester City.
The Blues brought Casadei back for the rest of last season and the 21 year old played 11 matches for the Chelsea’s first team. But, this season he has not been able to get proper game time.
Casadei has only played 244 minutes so far this season. In addition, he has not played a single minute in Premier League. This lack of game time can soon result in exit as many clubs are interested to sign the talented midfielder.
Juventus in talks with Chelsea for Casadei
As per Tuttosport, the Old Lady have resumed the talks with Chelsea over the potential transfer of Cesare Casadei. They believe that Casadei can be snapped for low price as they player is struggling for regular game time.
Casadei may be open to return to his country as he will need regular game time especially at this age which is important for his devlopment. Juve can even opt to go for loan deal which have higher chances of happening in January.
Juventus will not go all out for midfielders in January. There main priority is to improve their defence. Two of their main defenders are injured and will miss the rest of the season.
But, this will not have much affect on Casadei as he has plenty other suitors. He is being viewed by Villarreal, Real Betis, Sevilla and Monza. The Blues can loan him out for half season and monitor his development.
