Musiala is rumor to have attracted interest from a few teams, Jamal Musiala including Real Madrid, Liverpool FC, and others, but it appears that everyone, including those footballing behemoths, understands how unlikely it is for Musiala to leave Bayern Munich.

The number of years in a contract extension will likely not be important because it currently extends through 2026, but Musiala should receive a sizable pay raise as part of any new deal.

Jamal Musiala will extend his contract

According to a report from Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg (as @iMiaSanMia). Bayern Munich and star youngster Jamal Musiala are in agreement on getting a contract extension done. But they are not in any hurry to put pen to paper and make it official:

Musiala could agree to a new contract this year, but neither party is under any time constraints. Jamal has no intention of leaving Bayern. And he has a great relationship with the team, the player, the player’s parents, and the agency.

Real Madrid, Liverpool FC, and other teams are said to be interested in signing Jamal Musiala, but it seems that everyone, including those footballing titans, is aware of how unlikely it is for Musiala to leave Bayern Munich.

Since his current deal runs until 2026, the length of any contract extensions will probably not matter, but Musiala should get a hefty salary boost as part of any new agreement.
