Mourinho revealing his actual thoughts in the post-match said how important it was for him to win the landmark game. He tried to make himself believe it was not an important match until the last minutes, despite managing his 1000th game.
Mourinho’s true emotions were out in front as he was seen running down the sideline celebrating the last-minute winner. Seeing him it was like a 12-year-old child enjoying his first ever win. In Mourinho’s total 1000 games in charge, the Portuguese won 639 games and lifted 26 trophies in his managing career.
With AS Roma winning against Sassuolo they sit top of the Serie A table collecting 9 points in 3 matches. And moving on Jose Mourinho and AS Roma will be looking forward to the UEFA Europa Conference League. As the Italian needs to get ready to face CSKA Sofia in their first group stage match.
