Jose Mourinho and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the situation closely as they are eager to sign Sergio Ramos.
Sergio Ramos had joined Real Madrid in 2005 and since then he has helped in guiding his team to win different accolades and despite being a defender he has scored 72 goals in 466 appearances which is an impressive feat to achieve as a defender.
However, the 34-year-old Spaniard’s contract is set to end in July 2021 and with there being no news emerging about his contract being extended it opens the doors for a possible exit for the Madrid Talisman.
Mourinho to convince Ramos to join Spurs?
Ramos has played under Mourinho during his spell at Real Madrid (2010-2013) and Mourinho hopes to be reunited with his former star.
Spurs are looking to land an experienced defender at the back who can play a crucial role defensively.
so they have identified Ramos as their main target who could still lead Spurs to glory due to the experience and skill he has.
However, a move for Sergio Ramos would be hard to pull off as Madrid would not be interested in selling him right away so both clubs will have to engage in a tug of war which will decide where Ramos will be at next season.
And if Spurs fail to land Ramos then they will turn their attention to Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar so either way, they will still be eager to sign an experienced Centre Back.
Therefore it will be exciting to witness where Ramos ends up because there could still be possibilities that Madrid offer a contract extension or he could seal a move away from the Spanish capital as a free agent in the summer so at this stage nothing can be ruled out.
