Juventus have reportedly been accused of putting pressure on the referee at the halftime of the game against Udinese. Udinese director Pierpaolo Marino said that Fabio Paratici was trying to intimidate the referee after being caught shouting at him.

Udinese led the game in the first half with a goal from Argentine right-back Nahuel Molina. However, in the second half, Cristiano Ronaldo equalized the game from the penalty spot. Then at the end, he won the game 1-2 for the Bianconeri via an excellent header.

Juventus had gone into the break a goal down. After making a very slow start. The referee Daniele Chiffi had blown the whistle without adding a single minute of additional time.

The Chief Football Officer of Juventus Fabio Paratici waited for the referee Chiffi at the tunnel and reportedly accused of shouting at the referee.

Juventus intimated the referee at halftime against Udinese:

Andrea Pirlo’s side came back into the second half much better and moved the ball much quicker. However, they couldn’t break the stubborn defensive shape of Udinese. The Bianconeri scored the equaliser through the penalty spot after Rodrigo De Paul handled the ball in the box and Ronaldo made no mistake to finish it off.

The 36-year-old forward came for the rescue of Pirlo yet another at the death after he scored a brilliant header between the goalkeeper’s leg from a delicious delivery from substitute Adrien Rabiot.

Udinese director Mariano wasn’t impressed by the result and Paratici’ behavior in the tunnel.

“The Ronaldo free-kick that led to the penalty should’ve been a free kick in Udinese’s favor instead. I am a veteran of football. I’ve seen before those who cling to complaining over the lack of first-half stoppages to intimidate the referee.” – Udinese director Mariano.

This victory to Juventus kept them in the race for the top four race. It also saved Andrea Pirlo’ job until the end of this season.
