The Italian giants have had a dramatic start to the season. During the summer of 2021, Juventus re-hired the services of Massimiliano Allegri, who replaced Andrea Pirlo as the head coach. As the season began, Juve suffered a major blow after Cristiano Ronaldo decided to leave the club.
The Portuguese striker was reportedly seeking a move away from the club and he decided to leave after spending 3 years. Ronaldo’s departure from Juve at the start of the season shocked the club and Juventus failed to register victories. It took them a few months to recover from that blow but they are now sitting 5th in the league table.
However, Allegri’s side are 11 points away from the defending champions Inter Milan who are sitting at the top. They still have a long season ahead and the Juventus hierarchy are now planning to sign Gianluca Scamacca. The 36-times Scudetto winners want to add reinforcements especially in the front three.
