Juventus create a worrying record after the Milan game

Wolves

Juventus have created a worrying record after drawing against AC Milan by 1-1 on Sunday night at Allianz Stadium.

The Bianconeri welcomed Stefano Pioli’s side in a very crucial Serie A encounter. After a disappointing start to the second innings for Massimiliano Allegri, the Italian manager was hoping to get back to winning ways against the Rossoneri.

Juventus started the game exactly like they were hoping for as they got the early goal from a blistering counterattack. Having scored the opener, Allegri’s side became defensive and tried to hurt Milan on the transitions. The Rossoneri struggled to find openings and found it difficult at times to cope with the Bianconeri’s counter-attacks.

However, the story was completely different in the second half and Pioli’s side eventually found the equaliser from a set-piece. Milan had another chance to find the winner but substitute Pierre Kalulu’s shot was brilliantly saved by Wojciech Szczęsny.

Meanwhile, after conceding a goal in this encounter, Juventus have now been worryingly without a clean sheet in their last 18 consecutive Serie A appearances. A team that used to have a watertight defence a couple of years back, without a clean sheet for 18 matches is certainly a huge downfall.

Juventus without a clean sheet in 18 league games:

Juventus have already conceded six goals in their first four games of the season. They are currently without a win and sitting in 18th. The fixture will start to ease up for the Italian giants as they will encounter Spezia in their next game on Wednesday evening.

Following the arrival of Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus were thought to be the favourites to win the league this campaign. However, after a disappointing start to the season and already trailing 10 points from the top. It will require a miracle for them to become the champion at the end of this season.
